In the 1970s, I charmed my way into well equipped laboratories, conducted research of my own design and published major scientific discoveries in the new field of neuroscience, and by the early 1980s had become famous in this field--My works were reprinted by numerous universities including Harvard Medical School; I was invited to speak at University of Geneva, U.C. Berkeley, etc... and I was offered teaching positions at big name universities, including the opportunity to lecture at Yale Medical School... ... but alas, to become a lecturer or assistant professor answerable to the powers was odious to my independent nature... My desire was to do research, establish my own laboratory, and hike in the mountains and swim the deep blue sea; answering to no one except myself... And, along with chasing a thousand beauties in the darkness of night, published more research and best selling scholarly books, served on the California Superior Courts Panel of Forensic Experts (with appointments to over 500 cases), created scholarly films (over 50 million views on youtube), founded and edited what quickly became one of the most read scientific journals in the world... and this is what I did over the course of the following 40 years...

... and then my scientific career came to a close when, in 2016, I proved there is life on Mars. Not little green men, but Martian fungi which grew with abandon and had contaminated and damaged the Mars rovers. These discoveries were verboten! NASA was not pleased.
